The Witch

GattaNera by Andrea Da Ponte is an exquisite liqueur containing a blend of peppermint, Mediterranean liquorice and Vecchia Grappa di Prosecco. The Witch is a cocktail that harnesses its charms by complementing it with aromatic bourbon, highlighting its spellbinding, independent spirit. Served in a tumbler with plenty of ice, it’s especially enjoyable during an afternoon break or after dinner, as a way to end the evening in style.

60 ml bourbon
10 ml GattaNera
3 or 4 dashes of Angostura bitters
Put a few ice cubes into a low tumbler, then pour in the bourbon, GattaNera and Angostura bitters, stirring at all times with a bar spoon, using the stir and strain technique. The cocktail can be prepared directly in the serving glass or mixed separately and then poured into it. Garnish it by leaving a little orange peel resting lightly on the ice.
