Riserva del Fondatore 5+ years

Riserva del Fondatore 5+ years was launched to celebrate the exceptional personalities of two brothers – Andrea and Matteo Da Ponte – with a single spirit. It is a blend of grappa aged in barriques from Limousin and grappa aged in port barrels. It has an aroma reminiscent of liqueur wine that is punctuated by full notes of confectioner’s custard and exotic fruit. The velvety flavour gradually reveals an enveloping aftertaste steeped in vanilla, toasted oak and alluring hints of rum and cherry. A vintage 1950s 500 ml bottle has been chosen to complement this truly special spirit.
